Curator Statement
Yellow is a color that many quilt artists shy away from, as do many people regarding their clothes. But it is this curator's personal favorite color, and the gallery is a curious exploration of which pieces in the Juried Artist collection present their topic by employing this color. Sun, light and flowers are obvious topics, but other uses may be less expected.
