SAQA offers a variety of publications to meet the needs of the professional artist as well as the discerning art quilt collector. By offering these resources, we also hope to encourage critical writing, research, and publication of articles about art quilts in the art press, popular press, and scholarly journals.

Art Quilt Quarterly is a magazine available through subscription and sold in bookstores across the United States. Each issue is filled with beautiful artwork and informative articles for collectors, art venues, museums, professional artists, and art enthusiasts.

Volume 2: Around the World (available late 2021)
A key aspect of SAQA’s overall mission is to document and record the progress of the art quilt movement. Published in 2018 by Schiffer, Art Quilts Unfolding includes breathtaking photos of 400 masterpieces capture how and why this exciting contemporary art form developed.
Organized by decade, 182 international artists' works are featured. with engaging interviews and profiles of 58 influential artists, key leaders, important events, and significant collections. Art Quilts Unfolding was co-authored by Sandra Sider, Nancy Bavor, Lisa Ellis, and Martha Sielman.
The SAQA Journal is a quarterly publication available to members-only in printed and digital formats. It contains articles on professional development, features on individual artists and groups of artists, a themed member gallery, and updates on happenings within the organization. Back issues are available online to non-members.
We produce high-quality catalogs for each SAQA Global Exhibition. These catalogs showcase the work in our exhibitions with beautiful photography, artist details, and supplemental information.
