I have always had a penchant for bold color and pattern and working with fabrics. This was one of my first serious attempts at making fiber art. The composition was made almost entirely by hand. I used embroidery stitches to appliqu the shapes, and to decorate the concentric circles and background. It was shown in the Anchorage Museum as part of an exhibit of work from the Anchorage School District art teachers.
