In Passing Light is a collection of works that captures fleeting impressions—reflections, the flight of birds and butterflies, the pulse of music and dance, even the vastness of big bang. Each piece is a gesture of memory and change, an echo of moments that slip between presence and absence. Together, they invite a quiet attention to what is brief yet profoundly alive and beautiful.
Teresita Leal was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she continues to live and work. Originally trained as a biochemist with a doctorate in physiology, she transitioned to textile art more than 20 years ago. Since then, her work has been exhibited in festivals, salons, and museums throughout the Americas and Europe.
Teresita is a SAQA Juried Artist Member and serves as Regional Representative for Latin America. She is also a member of the Centro Argentino de Arte Textil, the Sociedad Argentina de Artistas Plásticos, and the international groups Viewpoints9 and 20 Perspectives. In addition, she has participated in several curatorial programs.
