Blood Moon

Red moon, blue moon, harvest moon...I am fascinated by the moon. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my name, Cynthia, means "goddess of the moon"! In any case, I have written poetry about the moon, created moon art, and never miss lunar eclipses. In May 2021 there was a super moon, a time when the moon appears closer to the earth because it is full and at its closest point in its orbit around the Earth. I created this piece inspired by that moon.
