Conversations with the Artists
Birds bring life into our landscapes and joy into our lives. SAQA’s “Aviary” exhibition was curated by Martha Sielman based on her book, “Stitched Journeys with Birds” (Schiffer 2023). Exhibiting artists Tracey Cameron (Alberta, Canada), Linda Hoffmeister (Florida, USA), and Zara Zannettino (South Australia, Australia) will speak about their art practices and the bird piece that is part of this exhibition. A Q&A session, moderated by Martha Sielman, will follow the presentation, and a slideshow of the full exhibition will be shown at both the beginning and end of the Textile Talk.
