20 Crossroads members received an envelope with a bundle of surprise fabrics.16 quilts (some made by SAQA members) are on view in the gallery of Bieke Paternoster. Viewers can interact by looking for the vintage Belgian linen towel (Marleen) and compare how artists used Japanese, unusual, or hand dyed fabrics from Monique’s collection. Not a simple task, but once it started, everybody was happy with the project.
Open Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday: 1-5pm. Saturday 12-4pm. Free entrance.
