Artist Statement
The work explores contemporary issues through the complex piecing of fabrics. These compositions achieve deeper depth, texture and meaning through complex computer-manipulated long-arm stitches. My studio contains literally hundreds of both fabrics and threads, which enable a detailed visual presentation.
