Artist Statement
Regina’s artistic journey started in Canada in 2003, where she saw textile art pieces for the first time and was fascinated. Her self-guided foray into the world of fiber quickly led to using this medium for artistic expression. In 2009, Regina obtained a Certificate in Patchwork and Quilting from City and Guilds of London.
Regina is inspired by human interaction, ecology, and heritage. Her art incorporates mark-making, painting, and printing. She continues to explore her materials and techniques to push the boundaries of the medium.

Regina has been exhibiting her art nationally and internationally for over 20 years. She has wide-ranging experience in promoting textile art through speaking engagements, curating exhibitions and teaching workshops. . Regina is a juried member of the international artist organizations Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) and Art Cloth Network ACN), and has held several volunteer positions as regional representative, mentor, and group facilitator.
