In my "Unwearable War" series I am looking at how people, women in particular, carry the psychological effects of war. Two-sided War depicts 2 women, one American and one Iraqi, both grieving the loss of a loved-one as a result of the same incident. Because I use sheer materials, the lines from one side are shared with the other. One woman's arm is also the other woman's. And who does the young boy stand with? Is he a future soldier? For which side will he fight?
