This was inspired from hearing about environmental disasters in our local area. I was troubled by the disruption and disturbance in our local waters. I used surface design, using paint/markers and collaged pops of color and whimsical fish, and I worked spontaneously and intuitively. The title: ’Point Break’ is a surfing slang for the location of where a wave breaks as it hits a point of land. So what will be the breaking point for our disastrous environmental problems?
