Hunter Gatherer; Guardian emerged from thoughts about a recent biogeographical DNA test done to determine where my ancestors came from. The jacket represents the connection to my ancestors—the feeling that they still surround, nurture, protect, and support me. I am enriched by my culture and my heritage. The jacket is my offering to them and my contact to the past.
