Heat maps are infographics where numbers are represented with colors, according to a scale that ranges through the extremes of red and blue. My hometown has often been depicted using extreme values of relevant indicators. During summer, it has a high fire risk. It has a high de-industrialization rate as well. But it also has one of the highest percentages of inhabitants employed in the scientific research field. And in some years, it has won first place in my country for its quality of life. For me, my hometown is simply the place where I was born and where I want to live. It is the place of my heart.
