Contrast these impressions of rough, indigo-dyed spinal columns and abstract bones with the elegant X-rays of my knees. Add splashes and swirls of light and color. Much of my work is composed in simple patterns, influenced by early quilt traditions, but with unusual directions. Colors and shapes have a distinct sensibility, often conveying variations in light and movement that appeal to me.
