Acorn and Oak Leaves is the second art quilt that I made, after just a few years of traditional quilting. This quilt, plus a class with Ruth McDowell, set me on the path of art quilting.
Nearly all my work is based on nature and usually plants. I am attracted to their details and the challenge of depicting them with fabric, stitch, paint, etc.
