Don’t miss this new program from SAQA’s Education Committee! Ask SAQA will launch on Thursday, February 19 at 4pm ET (New York Time) and be presented monthly.
Ask SAQA is your place to connect with experts and get answers to your questions about all things art quilt. This program will be guided by you. What do you want to know? We welcome questions about everything: beginner techniques and troubleshooting, hanging a show, navigating new professional waters, you name it! Our goal is to find experts who can answer your questions and serve as a resource for members at all experience levels.
Our inaugural program will be moderated by Executive Director Martha Sielman, with help from technical experts:
- Ann Johnston (dyeing, surface design)
- Jim Arendt (art & design, sewing machine help)
February’s program will contain answers to questions about:
- Design decisions
- Framing & mounting your art
- Adjustments for aging eyesight
Future topics will be generated from the questions that you have, so come and ASK SAQA!
