Region
TRIO is a collaborative exhibition featuring artists from SAQA’s Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina regions. Inspired by the rule of three, the exhibition brings together 29 art quilts selected by juror Stephen Knudsen, a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Each artist offers a unique interpretation, demonstrating the diversity, creativity, and expressive possibilities of contemporary art quilting.
The exhibition will be on view at the Alpharetta Arts Center from January through March 2027, with an opening reception on Friday, January 15, from 5- 7:00 p.m. We invite you to discover the many ways artists transform fabric, color, and stitch into works of art.
