FN 2027 does not confine the theme “Eşik / Thresholds” to a single definition. A threshold may be personal, social, cultural, geographical, material or conceptual.

We invite artists to respond to these questions through weaving and textile- and fiber-based forms of expression.

Artists and artist collectives of any nationality who are 18 years of age or older as of the application deadline.
A maximum of two works/projects per individual or collective.
Works/projects that were completed on or after January 1, 2023, are original, and have not previously received an award.
Contemporary artworks in which fibers, yarn, ribbons, wire, paper, biomaterials, recycled materials, or other suitable elements are organized through the principles of warp and weft, knotting, knitting, basketry, netting, binding, layering, or weaving.
Works in which the use of digital/algorithmic methods, artificial intelligence, assistants, workshops, or third-party production support is clearly disclosed.
