This talk will focus on Kandy G Lopez's artist path through the presence of marginalized individuals depicted in her larger than life-sized fiber paintings. She will discuss her career choices, her current presentations, and speak on the power of representation. As an Afro-Caribbean American artist, her work explores multi-cultural identity through materiality and narratives of people of color.
