This Showcase will feature art quilts (height 16”-24” x width 16”-24”) created by members of the SAQA Northern California/Nevada Region. Works created for this showcase will focus on the lasting impact of the events of 2020-21. We don’t know what the future holds: How have we changed as a result of the ongoing pandemic? Are there permanent impacts, emotionally or otherwise – on the family, society, politics, the country? Are human interactions altered forever – masks off/masks on – stay away/stay close – small groups/large crowds? How have our children been impacted by the experiences of 2020-2021, or even into 2022? Or, how was a major event in your life impacted or perhaps even caused by our pandemic reality? “Forever Changed” will explore all facets of this subject.
