Fabulous Fibers IV will once again have the walls gleaming with vibrant colors at the John James Audubon State Park. The textile exhibit will fill the lower and main levels of the Museum. Talented SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) fiber artist from Indiana and Kentucky/Tennessee regions will be exhibiting their fiber artworks.
Fabulous Fibers IV will show artistic creations of twenty to thirty textile artists, using a wide variety of materials and techniques.
Entries will be evaluated on overall artistic impact, content and design by digital images only.
Two Special Exhibits will also be included:1. CoronArt 2020 (23) pieces of wall art20” x 20” 2. Collaboration 2021 (60) pieces of wall art12” x 12” pieces in 15 groups of 4
Wall pieces:Height: at least 24” but no more than 72”
Width: at least 24” but no more than 60”
Minimum size accepted will be 24” x 24”
Framed or mounted pieces are accepted.
Artwork may not have previously been displayed at the Audubon Museum. There is no restriction on the age of the piece.
