Building Community through Art, a Conversation With Da Vinci Art Alliance Textile Artists, presented by SAQA

Based in Philadelphia, Da Vinci Art Alliance (DVAA) is an intergenerational artist collaborative. Their work promotes creativity as a tool to build collective resilience. This Textile Talk features DVAA fiber artists Gloria Davis, Richie Lopez, and Heather Marie Scholl. We’ll hear from each artist about their art practice and talk to DVAA Executive Director Samantha Connors about building intergenerational community through art.

Textile Talks features weekly presentations and panel discussions from the International Quilt Museum, Quilt Alliance, Studio Art Quilt Associates, and Surface Design Association. The programs are held online at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific) each Wednesday.
