The National Wool Museum, together with OzQuilt Network presents Art Quilt Australia 2023, including Expressions: The Wool Quilt Prize.
Art Quilt Australia 2023 promotes excellence and originality in contemporary art quilts in Australia, New Zealand and Ozquilt Network members worldwide, with an added emphasis on quilts made of wool.
Works are selected on the basis of originality, composition, content and execution by a jury of acknowledged experts: Dr Anne Farren, Beth Miller and Dr Moira G. Simpson.
This biennial juried exhibition features 37 works showcasing the bold, dynamic and intricate practice of art quilting.
It also includes the Expressions: Wool Quilt Prize, with the winning piece becoming part of the National Wool Museum’s permanent collection.
