My art comes to me through my interaction with Nature, Family, Friends and Travel. I am a self proclaimed "Traditional Quilter Run Amok"! My processes include traditional techniques like piecing, hand and machine applique,then I throw in my own texturing , hand beading, and adding fibers etc. Using hand painted and dyed fabrics, (mine and others) I create scenes like a grouping of Lady Slipper flowers, giant Day Lily, glorious red Poppies... Landscapes are a favorite and am happy to do custom designs from your photos. Also I like to explore color studies and abstract pieces. I have many pieces in Children's Hospital locations in and around Boston, MA.

Workshops, Lectures, (cruises, conferences, guilds) round out my repertoire!
