Artist Statement
I love dyeing and printing fabric and sometimes I let the fabric tell me what to do with it. Other times, I make fabric to tell the story of my thoughts and feelings. Lately, I've been adding my own photographs to my work by printing them on fabric. Photography has been a life long love, right up there with textiles.
Making a quilt is self therapy for me. It soothes my heart and lets me move on to other thoughts. I hope that I add to the beauty in the world, as well as bringing thought provoking ideas.
