“Unhinged” pays homage to the beautiful workmanship on a Victorian-era hinge on a door in my hairdresser’s shop. I had passed it countless times over the years, until one day when I looked over and was gobsmacked by the design, the workmanship, and the patina of the beautiful piece of practical art.
