Under the Pyramid in the Louvre Paris

Being under the pyramid in the Louvre museum in Paris is a strange and powerful visual experience. Nowadays, this big open spiral staircase is for employees only. I digitally modified my own photo, and Spoonflower printed it on cotton sateen. I added texture by hand stitching with metal yarns, drawing attention to the tactile architecture of this well-known sight.
