Think Green

Endangered species,recycling, global warming, the burning of the rain forests, and even " tree huggers," as environmental activists are sometimes called-all of these topics related to current environmental concerns can be seen in Carolyn's quilt. The elephant's eye and the designs seen on the man's face are particularly interesting; it is almost as though green plants are beginning to grow on his skin, indicating that we are one with the world and its problems.
