Ten After Five

This piece was created to use my extensive collection of men’s ties. I love their colors, designs, textures and fabrics. This shows a man completing his day’s work and the first thing he does is loosen his tie. The shirt is also an actual recycled shirtfront showing wrinkles from eight hours on the job. His expression would seem to indicate that while his job is not the most satisfying, he is okay with putting in his time and accepting of his life.
