My structure inspiration is tree bark. Every tree has a specific structure, and a Taxus bark for this quilt inspired me. I create these abstract shapes from the bark's structure that I then combine with colours to achieve a harmonic composition.

Artist dyed satin cotton dyed Procion MX colours. Variegated threads and batting.
