One of my first Mandala quilts, Snowflake was an exciting challenge. Along with learning the concept of 360 degree design, I wanted to create a frame around the Mandala to accentuate the design in the center which became a woven border.
Materials
Thiis quilt is made of commercially printed cotton.
Techniques
This quilt was created on a 360 degree format so each piece had to fit perfectly to lie flat when constructed. Snowflake is hand quilted.
