Shared Destiny

As an artist, my goal is to create thought provoking narratives, reflecting on the lives, culture or history of people, captured in time through the lens of a camera. Telling their story not only preserves their legacy, but creates my own. The strong personalities of Native American chiefs by Edward S. Curtis inspired me to create a quilt depicting them larger than life, coupled with hand dyed fabrics to capture and express their vibrancy.
