Self Portrait

I am excited to engage with artificial intelligence! Once limited to science fiction and specialized fields, it is now on my desktop—and I get to be in the first wave of everyday users. Only two years ago, I was impressed by awkward AI images. Since then, the technology has raced ahead, with developments both thrilling and unsettling. There is no going back, and I can only hope that responsible usage will support a reasonable evolution of this new multi-tool. As an artist, I consider AI a collaborator—one that can spark ideas and push my vision further. But AI cannot feel; it is mathematical algorithms at work. For emotion and humanity, I need to put myself into the artwork.
