I have been exploring the use of colored threads to enhance and alter my quilts. Seeking Simplicity: Threads 3 started with a single color fabric that had a contrasting center square. Stitching narrow lines in light, medium, and dark values in the same color family, the overall look of the artwork was altered; what started out as one color now appears to be several.
