A New Dawn

Travelling through the night isn't my favourite thing to do, but it does mean I am able to witness one of the most beautiful things on earth - a new dawn. Those uplifting few minutes, when the darkness of the night gives way to the light and optimism brought by the return of the sun's warming rays.

Lino prints on stiff interfacing have been cut, stitched and stacked to create a sunburst effect on both sides of the piece.
