The bulk of my work has depicted images from my environment, especially the woods in western Maine. Working with layers of acrylic painted silk, my fiber art features transparency; also the use of seam lines as a design element. As a Quilt National 2009 Juror, I chose this quilt to represent my art as the exhibition toured the US.
