Matilija Poppies

I have been fascinated by the stunning flower of the Matilija Poppy. The pure white of the petals with an intense yellow center truly makes it look like sunny-side up eggs. I am even planning on starting a plant in a nice, isolated spot in my yard. I understand that it can be quite invasive.
