"just Harry" is about adolescent depression, where a carefree childhood is replaced with fear and anxiety. As many as 20% of teenagers will suffer from depression at some time, making them vulnerable to other issues including bullying, substance abuse and suicide.

The name came from the first Harry Potter book, when a young Harry, unaware of the wonders his life would behold and the great things that he would accomplish, humbly identifies himself as "just Harry".
