Gentiana

By combining folds, pleats and origami with the flexible properties of textiles I create fascinating geometric forms. Adding intense, vibrant colour, I find the combination irresistible. This centre of this arrangement of stitched pyramids reminds me of the distinctive flowers of the Gentian family.
