Dust Storm over the Lake
45.5 in(131 cm x 116 cm)
Dust storms are not uncommon in Australia but are generally confined to the inland west of the Great Dividing Range. A few years ago, the east coast awoke to find itself blanketed in thick orange swirls of dust caused by strong westerly winds. An eerie and surreal vista subsumed the familiar landscape...a portent of unstable weather conditions caused by climate change.
