When I started quilting in the 1990s, I was drawn to the traditional log cabin block. Very soon I wanted to do my own designs and give my quilts a contemporary look. I liked the idea of twisted log cabins. 'Don't Count' contains 25 diamonds with 2 sides indicating the number 50 for my husband's special birthday.
