Blister Beetle Collection

Collections of beetles displayed on trays in museums inspired this mini quilt. Blister Beetles are so named because of the blister that they leave on the skin after you have been bitten by them, however, their wing covers often have a beautiful blister-like pattern on them. My whimsical interpretation is partly based on fact and partly based on my imagination.
