An astronomer once told me that within one year we would have a photograph of a black hole, as the thinning of the ozone layer is a boon to astronomers. They are able to observe more of the heavens because of its diminishment. This quilt was included in Quilt National 1991.
Materials
Cotton with nylon overlay.
Techniques
Discharge dyed fabric and silver paint marker. Machine pieced and hand quilted.
