Big Blue

Big Blue is my interpretation of the famous 1972 photo taken by the Apollo 17 spacecraft from 18,300 miles above the planet’s surface. From their vantage point in space, the astronauts said that the earth appeared as a small blue marble. I invite viewers to contemplate our planet, which is home to billions of creatures, and to care for and safeguard our beautiful world.
