Artifact #22

Harding builds up layers of fabrics and then cuts through them to reveal layers of color, “freeing” the textile from its woven grid to create compelling texture and depth. While his art quilts often result in fragmented figural imagery, Artifact #22 is pure abstraction, with only a hint of a cast-off garment.
