Life experiences, nature, and travel have influenced me to create art as lasting memories. Textile, colour, and texture are my passion. Most recently, I am concerned about the environment and the devastating effects of climate change.
I love to learn and have studied with many international teachers. I have one more course to complete a Certificate in Visual Design. My medium is fabric, specializing in surface design especially with dye and paint, to make unique marks, augmented with stitch.
Retired from a career in healthcare, I currently reside in Calgary, Alberta where time stands still while I make art.
