Building a Practice, Building a Community: Fiber Club*
Saturday 05/01/27: 9:15pm (Hotel Ballroom)
Following the format of a typical Fiber Club* Meeting, Katie Shulman, the founder and co-manager of the network, will introduce her art and community building practices to the SAQA community. She will share her studio practice and the history of Fiber Club*’s founding and programming accomplishments. Then, Katie will facilitate two essential parts of a Fiber Club* meeting for SAQA members: the sharing of announcements and “show and tell” featuring Diane Nunez, who will give a short presentation of her work. Katie hopes SAQA members will come to the presentation with accomplishments and opportunities to share.
