Mary Savig will provide a sneak peek at the Renwick Gallery's upcoming exhibition, Subversive, Skilled, Sublime: Fiber Art by Women. This project draws on archival and oral history recordings to amplify the voices and personal backstories of participating artists. All artworks are from the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and Renwick Gallery. Along those lines, Savig will also share details of some major new acquisitions.
