SAQA Japan 2025 Weaving with Japanese Sensibility (SAQA Regional)

This exhibition is based on the theme of "KIMONO FABRIC," in honor of Tokamachi, a town that has developed a long history of weaving and continues to boast a tradition as a kimono town. It will feature new and original works by SAQA Japan members and mini quilts by SAQA members from the Asia-Oceania region.

You can enjoy the wide range of expressions in art quilts that respect tradition while also treating Japanese fabrics as modern textiles.
