Brewster-based quiltmaker, Cecilia K. Maciá, first learned hand stitching and embroidery as a child in Cuba. After immigrating to the United States, Maciá began quilting in the mid-1970s and has honed her skills in the decades since. Her original designs and fine hand quilting have earned many accolades and admirers.
